
ELK GROVE – Today, Elk Grove City Councilwoman Stephanie Nguyen’s campaign for State Assembly announced that in a recently conducted poll by FM3 research of likely voters in the 10th Assembly District, Nguyen holds a 10-point lead over her closest opponent.
“In the past two months our campaign for State Assembly has gained considerable momentum,” said Stephanie Nguyen. “This poll is a reflection of the strength of our campaign and the work that I have accomplished as an Elk Grove City Councilmember and as the Executive Director of ARI; where I work tirelessly to uplift underserved and underrepresented communities in our region.”
In 2017, Nguyen was unanimously appointed to serve as the Councilmember for District 4 in the City of Elk Grove making her the first Asian-American woman to serve as a Council Member in Sacramento County’s second largest city.
In 2018, she was elected citywide with over 65% of the vote to continue her term as the only woman on the Elk Grove City Council. Nguyen is a Democrat.
